HISTORIC paddle steamer PS Waverley will make an appearance in Greenock this weekend.
The vessel will make its first trip 'doon the watter' of the new season today and tomorrow, stopping off in Greenock on both days.
This year marks 75 years since the Waverley’s maiden voyage, which happened on June 16, 1947.
To celebrate, the steamer will first journey up to the Western Isles before returning to the Clyde to follow the route of its original cruise up Loch Long and Loch Goil to the villages of Lochgoilhead and Arrochar.
