SUN-SEEKERS headed to Gourock Pool this afternoon for a splash as a heatwave hits the UK.
With temperatures soaring to 40 degrees in some parts of the UK, over 1,000 keen swimmers are expected to go through the doors of the popular Inverclyde attraction today.
Swimmers of all ages are enjoying the facilities in what has been dubbed the 'busiest day of the season so far' by pool bosses.
