LOCAL projects focused on sustainability can apply for a vital cash boost from this week.
Grants of up to £5,000 will be awarded to successful local initiatives through the Community Sustainable Development Grants scheme launched by Inverclyde Community Fund (ICF).
The charity, which was set up to support the area’s community groups and voluntary organisations, gave out £25,699 worth of grants for community projects during the 2020/21 financial year.
Now £40,000 of its Inverclyde Windfarm Fund - a 10-year grant scheme partnership between Inverclyde Renewables LLP and ICF - has been set aside to support projects.
More details about grants, as well as a dedicated application form, are available via ICF’s website - www.inverclydecommunityfund.org - with the final deadline for applications October 7.
