STAFF at M&S Port Glasgow got on their bikes and cycled round Millport two weekends in a row to raise cash for Ardgowan Hospice in memory of a much-loved late colleague.
The hospice looked after the late Anne Hendry, who worked in M&S Greenock for over 20 years, after she was diagnosed with cancer.
The 54-year-old passed away in 2018 and her colleagues have been raising money in her honour ever since.
Their recent exploits netted £3,329 and customer assistants Rhona MacDonald, Lynsey Nolan and Scott Nicols handed the cheque over.
Rhona told the Tele: "We are absolutely delighted, we didn't expect to raise anywhere near as much as this.
"Our customers remember Anne fondly and wanted to donate in her memory."
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the hospice were Karen Brown, Paula Carroll and Daniel Deighan.
Fundraiser Laura Queen added: "We are so grateful to M&S staff and customers for their very kind donation.
"It is so appreciated and will allow us to continue supporting our patients and families."
