YOUNG people who are keen to get into the construction industry can get involved in a new local training scheme in 2023.
Employability Scotland and Action for Children have teamed up to recruit for the next Youthbuild programme, which is focused on construction.
The course is open to 16 to 29-year-olds and some of the areas covered will include working at height, small plant machinery and tools, asbestos awareness and first aid.
Sessions will begin on January 17.
To find out more about the course contact the team at Inverclyde Community Hub in Cathcart Street on 01475 711733.
