A MUCH loved senior citizens club is back in full flight and making plans for the year ahead after fears over its future.
The long standing Gourock Pensioners was struggling to get going again after the pandemic.
But after their plight was highlighted in the Tele there was a rallying round from locals and meetings have restarted at their Riverside Gardens base.
Organiser Jim Hunter said: "After the story was in the Tele I had calls from people urging me to keep it going and here we are.
"It is great to have everyone back in the Riverside Gardens again and I would like to thank River Clyde Homes and our warden Emma Molloy for all her support.
"We are excited about the other events to follow."
