WASTE warriors in Inverclyde are urged to sign up for a new app that could see them scooping £500 for picking up litter.
LitterLotto, run in partnership with national eco-charity Keep Scotland Beautiful, offers a weekly prize ranging from £50 to £500 to litter-pickers taking a photo of their waste being binned using the app.
Greenock man James Sutherland, 56, was previously rewarded for his community spirit by snapping a photo of rubbish he binned, and received £250.
