A SCENT-SATIONAL new course at Branchton Community Centre has proved so popular that it already has a waiting list.
The centre's Introduction to Aromatherapy programme started recently and over 20 people are enrolled already, with enquiries are still coming in.
Lee Trotter at the centre said the course had been such a big success that a waiting list has been set up for tutor Sandra Docherty.
Sandra, who is a student wellbeing manager at West College Scotland, said the course looks at how to use aromatherapy to alleviate physical, emotional and mental stress and anxiety.
She added: "Some of the areas we cover include meditation, mindfulness techniques and emotional freedom.
"The students compile their own reflective diaries and talk about how the course is helping their health and wellbeing in their day-to-day lives.
"We've had really positive feedback."
