A FORMER Greenock Academy pupil who has carved out a successful second career as an author has published his fourth novel.
Dr Colin Barron, whose father was a GP in the town, has written an action packed thriller 'Four Minutes to Zero'.
It is a follow up to his story about fictional hero former SAS Sergeant Rick Ferscale as he battles global terrorism.
The 66-year-old turned to writing after giving up his medical career to care for his wife, who is severely disabled.
