A GOUROCK man charged with making 'threats to murder' and brandishing a shovel is set for trial at the sheriff court after denying the allegations.
Brendan Watt, 23, is also accused of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, shouting, swearing and uttering derogatory remarks.
Watt, of Shore Street, is said to have committed the alleged offences on various occasions on August 3 last year at his home and during the course of a journey to Greenock police office.
He has pleaded not guilty through lawyer Derek Buchanan, with the case due to call again on May 23 ahead of a trial scheduled for June 14.
