A NATIONAL skincare and beauty expert is 'coming home' after choosing Inverclyde as the new location for her fourth UK clinic.

Ashleigh Todd Aesthetics has taken a long-term lease for a modern unit on Shore Street in Gourock.

The Aesthetics Club Gourock is the latest expansion for the businesswoman who grew up in Greenock, following her other clinics in Newcastle, Cookham in Berkshire and Shawlands in Glasgow.

The latest represents a homecoming for Ashleigh, as she fulfils her long-term ambition to open a high-class clinic in Inverclyde.

Ashleigh has been working in the aesthetics industry for over 12 years and is described as one of the leading UK skincare and beauty experts.

The medical clinic will be operated by qualified doctors and nurses and is regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

Ashleigh attended Duncan of Jordanstone Art School and the University of West Scotland to complete a degree in nursing before combining her medical experience and artistic ability to forge a new career.

She said: "I've always held an ambition to open up one of my clinics in Inverclyde and now is the perfect time as we continue to grow.

"It’s been a very successful few years for the business as we continue to expand across the UK, with our loyal customers continuing to be delighted with the range of treatments and client care.

"A number of the team are based in Inverclyde or around Glasgow and we have a large number of customers from the Inverclyde area that currently travel to our other clinics, so it makes sense to create a local clinic to help serve and grow our client base."
