THE trial of a Port man charged with driving a car dangerously — and along a pavement — has been postponed.
Lee Woods, 27, sought a delay in the two-year long prosecution after telling defence lawyer Derek Buchanan there is dashcam footage of the alleged incident.
Woods, of Iona Road, is accused of causing a Vauxhall Astra 'to mount and thereafter drive on a pedestrian pavement' at Belville Street, Greenock, on February 22, 2021.
He has maintained a plea of not guilty.
The case is now due to call again on July 18.
