POLICE say they have found 'no criminality' after an incident which left a man with multiple serious injuries. 

Officers were called to Stonehaven Road in Branchton at around 7pm on Friday following a report of an injured man. 

Paramedics were also on the scene and the man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, where he received treatement for serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson has now confirmed that enquiries into the incident have been completed.

They said: "Around 7pm on April 14, police received a report of a man with injuries in Stonehaven Road, Greenock.

"The man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley by ambulance for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries.

"Enquiries have been carried out and no criminality has been established.”
