GOUROCK Golf Club are giving local businesses a tee-riffic chance to play a part in some of the season's biggest tournaments.
The club's ladies section are gearing up for the new season under the leadership of captain Elizabeth Thomson Rankin and have purchased a posse of 'golfing girls', which will be used as special sponsored markers around the local course.
They will be put in place for each of this season's ladies 'majors', as well as being displayed at the club's mixed open and mixed social events.
Some of the signs will be used as special markers for novelty prizes at competitions throughout the year.
Each of the signs depicts a cartoon woman and bears the logo or name of a local business.
The club says all 18 of its course holes have already been sponsored, but there are still opportunities for other businesses to get involved.
Those interested are asked to contact club secretary Carol Anderson by email at secretary@gourockgolfclub.com.
