TWO campaigning teenagers from Inverclyde have both won a UK award for their outstanding achievements.
Clydeview Academy pupils 17-year-old Nina Kirk and 16-year-old Ben Kane have been named Rotary Great Britain and Ireland Young Citizens of the Year.
Climate change activist Nina first spoke at an Eco summit in Inverclyde before taking her message to Cop 26.
Classmate Ben has set up his own counselling service in school to support children suffering bereavement and has also taken his campaign to local MSP Stuart McMillan.
Both teenagers were nominated by the Gourock Rotary Club after they were finalists in the local branch's first ever Dr Sadhu Gupta Young Citizen of the Year award.
