A POST box in Gourock has received a makeover fit for a king ahead of this weekend's coronation.
The box, on the corner of Binnie Street and John Street, has been adorned with a royal-themed topper featuring a crafted version of St Edward's Crown - which has been used to crown the last six monarchs.
The decoration has been added to mark the coronation of King Charles III, which takes place on Saturday.
A ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey in London, conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
There will also be a procession to the Abbey prior to the ceremony, as well as a second to Buckingham Palace afterwards.
The coronation will be broadcast live on a number of TV channels and radio stations, including the BBC, ITV, and Sky networks.
