SCOUTS District Commissioner Martin Buchan visited the 10th to present good service awards to some of the leaders.
Awards given out were as follows: Stewart Laing (Cubs & Scouts) - 5 year service; Jack Deveney (Cubs) - 5 year service; Aidan Grant (Beavers) - 5 year service; Alison Deveney (Beavers) - 10 year service; Michael Sinclair (Scouts) - 10 year service; Stephanie McCann (Beavers) - Wood Beads & Chief Scout; Commendation for good service Joyce Calder (Group Scout Leader); Wood Beads & Bar to Medal of Merit for good service Kai & George McClintock (friends of the group) - 15 year service.
On the same night three beavers, Jack, Mila and Sophia were invested into the group and became official members of scouting.
Three Scouts earned well deserved promotions. Lewis and Zak were promoted to being Assistant Patrol Leaders and Nuala became a Patrol Leader.
