RESIDENTS at an Inverclyde care home joined forces with a group of Scouts to celebrate the King’s Coronation over the weekend.
Campbell Snowden House in Quarrier’s Village teamed up with children from Bridge of Weir for the event.
The residents, Scouts, and their friends and families came together for a ‘truly musical’ Coronation party.
The event also marked the end of an intergenerational music project funded by insurer Royal London.

Deborah Summerhill, activity coordinator at Cambell Snowdon House, said: “Our celebration day was amazing - we sang together, played with balloons and enjoyed some lovely cakes made by our chef John."
Emily Abbott, IMM programme director, added: “Residents from Campbell Snowdon House and the Bridge of Weir Scouts have really embraced the project which aims to build lasting connections.
“The Coronation is the perfect opportunity for generations to celebrate together."
