A GREENOCK-BORN drag queen is headed for the Hydro along with stars of the hit TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Ross McCorkell, known as Rosé, is taking part in the Werq The World tour, which visits Glasgow on October 15.
The 33-year-old was born in Greenock before moving to Aberdeen as a young child, and then on to Houston in Texas.
Rosé started drag in 2017 at a festival in Washington D.C. and was cast in the thirteenth series of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2020, reaching the top four alongside eventual series winner Symone.

The performer will be joined by popular queens Jaida Essence Hall, Aquaria, Angeria, Bosco, and Daya Betty on the tour.
During their time in the UK, shows will also be held in cities such as Cardiff, Manchester, London, and Dublin.
