THE Waverley has been taking part in trials off Greenock this week ahead of the upcoming 2023 cruise season.
The iconic paddle steamer left Greenock on Tuesday for sea trials around the Tail of the Bank.
Over the past few days, crews have tested her systems with berthing trials in Largs and Rothesay.
The Waverley’s season gets underway next week, with sailings from Glasgow, Greenock, Largs, Kiclreggan, Blairmore, Dunoon, Rothesay, Millport, and Tighnabruich scheduled between Friday, May 19 and Monday, May 22.
She then heads off to Oban and the Inner Hebrides on Tuesday, May 23.
