A SERVICE which provides life-changing mental health support for children and families shared its good work with the local community at a successful opening day.

Mind Mosaic Children & Family Therapies welcomed politicians, educators, third sector workers and other interested guests into their offices at Greenock’s Ladyburn Business Centre for a series of presentations about their services.

The charity highlighted a range of therapies and other services it offers to support young people and families through fascinating presentations delivered at the event, which covered subjects such as Jungian sandplay therapy, infant play therapy and baby/parent support and non-directive play therapy.

Chief executive Sandra Boyle told the Tele the talks had been a hit with attendees.

She said: “It has been a really good day.

“We’ve had local councillors, people from right across the third sector, a lot of our network partners, colleagues from schools such as head teachers, social work teams and families themselves along today.

“It’s been great to be able to showcase the work that we’ve been doing.

“We’ve got excellent volunteers who come in and help us every single time with these events.”
