A GOUROCK hairdresser has proved she is a cut above after helping to raise funds to buy a community defibrillator in Gourock.
Elizabeth Hare, who owns Gourock Barber Lounge, is donating a free haircut to a race night being held in Gourock Bowling Club in Barrhill Road on June 30.
The fundraiser event is being held to raise funds to install a defibrillator in the bowling Club.
Elizabeth, 48, pictured with colleague Sharon O'Connor, said: "I think it is a brilliant idea. I like to do what I can to help the community."
The generous shop owner has also donated a free haircut as a prize to King's Oak Primary School's summer fete and for a fundraiser for Explorer scouts who going to Nepal.
