A £118MILLION superyacht owned by the former CEO of a major coffee chain has arrived at Greenock's James Watt Dock Marina today.
The 254-foot vessel, named Pi, belongs to American businessman Howard Schultz – who has stood at the helm of Starbucks on three occasions.
Pi was built in 2019 by Feadship, a Dutch company which specialises in high-end luxury yachts.
Her exterior was designed by Jarkko Jämsén, with the interior being credited to Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design.
She can accommodate up to 12 guests, as well as having accommodation for 18 crew members.
Pi is also listed as being the 209th largest yacht in the world.
Mr Schultz first took on the Starbucks CEO role in 1986, with his latest stint ending in March ths year. He continues to serve as chairman and a member of the Starbucks Coffee Company board.
In 2020, the 69-year-old was ranked as the 209th richest person in the world by Forbes magazine.
He was also publicly considered as an independent candidate for the 2012, 2016 and 2020 US Presidential elections.
