ROOKIE readers enjoyed some fun at Blairmore Nursery when a special guest made an appearance.

Tots were thrilled when Bookbug arrived to help them with some songs and rhymes doing the 'Big Shoogle'.

Children were thrilled to see the cuddly creature and joined in with the singing and actions.

The session was part of a celebration for Bookbug week organised by the Scottish Book Trust.
