SECTIONS of three Greenock roads will be shut for almost a fortnight starting next week while carriageway resurfacing works take place.
Inverclyde Council have confirmed that parts of Newark Street, Mews Lane and Finnart Street will be closed from Monday May 29 at 7am, until Friday June 9 at 5pm.
Access to Newark Street will be restricted from its junction with Octavia Terrace to a point just west of its junction with Wood Street.
Its eastbound lane will also be closed from its junction with Wood Street to its junction with Octavia Terrace.
Mews Lane will be shut from the point where it meets Westfield Drive to its junction with Newark Street.
At Finnart Street, the road will be closed from its corner with newark Street to its junction with Madeira Street.
There will be restrcited access for Newark Avenue, Stoneleigh Road and Drumlea during the works.
