A THIEF who stole £1,000-worth of items from B&Q in Port Glasgow says he's willing to pay the money back.
Ricardo Lacatus, 18, swiped a pressure washer, flooring, wallpaper and a container from the store at the town's retail park last October.
He pleaded guilty to shoplifting the items to the value of £985.36.
Lacatus was caught on CCTV taking a trolley-load of goods out of the store.
A sheriff chose to defer sentence to allow him time to pay the money back to B&Q.
A review of other court orders that the thief is on will also be carried out.
Lacatus, whose address was not given in court, is due to be sentenced on August 6.
