GREENOCK'S sporting stars of tomorrow got a pleasant surprise over the weekend when a current Scottish rugby player visited town.
Matt Fagerson checked in with Greenock Wanderers' under-14s team on Friday night after the club invited the back-row to take a training session.
And the Glasgow Warriors man was only too happy to oblige as he stopped off at the Octavia Terrace pitch to offer some top class tips to the aspiring youngsters.
Perth-born Matt is the younger brother of fellow Scotland internationalist Zander, with the pair racking up more than 80 caps between them so far.
In a social media post, the local side thanked Matt for coming along and giving up his time, adding: "What a way for our U14s to finish their season."
