THE people of Inverclyde have spoken - and it seems opinions are mixed on what to do on a sunny day in the area.
While some suggested heading straight out of town for a day trip, others had more specific ideas on how to enjoy the weather locally.
Several respondents had activities in mind that involved the waterfront, including walking from the esplanade through to Gourock swimming pool, enjoying the views from the Battery Park, and even trying outdoor swimming.
But it's not just the coastline that people love about Inverclyde - some recommended getting out into nature by heading up to Overton, where views, wildlife, and peace and tranquillity can be enjoyed.
Others suggested a fishing trip, whether for mackerel or cod, to be enjoyed as part of a homemade dinner.
Suggestions also included the free-to-visit Cornalees centre, as well as the Esplanade, Battery Park, and Lunderston Bay.
One respondent said they'd relish the chance to simply sit in their garden and soak up the sun.
And of course, some can't resist a beer garden when the sun is shining.
It's clear that Inverclyde has a range of options for enjoying the sun, whether you prefer the hustle and bustle of the waterfront or the peace and quiet of the hills.
However, with so many different takes on what constitutes a good day out, it's likely that different people will continue to have different opinions on what to do on a sunny day.
