BURNT toast has been found at the scene of an incident which saw fire crews rush to Gourock earlier today.
Three engines were dispatched to a report of a blaze in Gourock this morning at around 11am.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service staff were seen entering tenement blocks in the area and donning safety equipment at the scene.
A spokesperson for the service later confirmed that firefighters had extinguished a blaze affecting a 'steel container'.

The crews left the scene a short time afterwards with two pieces of charred toast spotted on the pavement nearby.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 11.02am on Tuesday, May 30 to reports of a building on fire at Shore Street, Gourock.
“Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a steel container.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
