PLANS to cut back more than two dozen trees in Quarriers Village have been approved by Inverclyde Council.
Two applications seeking permission to carry out crown reduction works on a variety of trees on several village streets have been given the green light.
The first application relates to a group of seventeen trees - comprising of 12 lime trees, four sycamores and a chestnut tree - on Peace Avenue which are now set to have their tops trimmed.
A further five trees - a beech, two sycamores and two limes - will also have work carried out while a pair of ash trees will be removed.
