A TEENAGER accused of loitering outside his ex's home and challenging a man to fight is due to stand trial.
Nineteen-year-old Marc Docherty is said to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner at his former partner's home in Port Glasgow on February 13 this year.
The accused allegedly attended at the property uninvited, acted in an aggressive manner towards the woman and a man, shouted, swore and demanded to see her.
It is claimed he challenged the male to a fight and refused to leave despite his requests to do so.
Docherty, of East Kilbride, also uttered threats of violence, loitered outside the property, repeatedly kicked the front door and repeatedly punched a window of the property, according to court papers.

The alleged offences were aggravated by involving abuse of his ex.
At Greenock Sheriff Court Docherty's defence solicitor Rhona Lynch said she had been hoping to resolve the matter but that was not now possible.
The lawyer said there were concerns over the accused's capacity and fitness to appear, and background reports were called for.
Sheriff Mark Moir scheduled a trial for August 7, with a pre-trial hearing set to take place on July 11.
