A POPULAR TV series starring Greenock actor Martin Compston scooped up a top gong at the Royal Television Society Scotland awards last night.
Martin Compston's Scottish Fling, a programme which saw the Line of Duty star travel Scotland with pal Phil MacHugh, won in the entertainment and features category.
A second season of the popular programme was recently confirmed by the actor.
Elsewhere, his co-star from hit BBC drama Mayflies, Tony Curran, picked up the award for best male actor.
