AN alleged shoplifter charged with nicking items from two Port Glasgow stores whilst subject to NINE bail orders has had his case delayed again.
Simon Driver allegedly stole a quantity of candles from Farmfoods in the Port on January 24 this year and alcohol from M&S on February 21.
Court papers claim the 45-year-old committed the alleged offences whilst subject to nine separate bail orders imposed in November 2022.
Driver, whose address was given as the Inverclyde Centre in Greenock, was not present at the sheriff court, with his lawyer Derek Buchanan telling the hearing he is in custody and had not been brought to court.
The case was continued without plea until June 13.
