A SMALL cruise ship has berthed at Greenock Ocean Terminal ahead of a ten-day trip exploring Scotland’s islands.
Ocean Endeavour, a nine-deck vessel, can cater for up to 450 passengers across almost 200 cabins.
Those on-board can enjoy a 24-hour gym, several lounges and a library, as well as a pool, sauna and hot tub.
The Adventure Canada ship sets off on the ‘Scotland Slowly’ cruise from Greenock today, with Islay being her first port of call.
From there, she will sail on to Iona – offering passengers the chance to visit the Isle of Staffa – before moving on to Skye.

Stops are also scheduled in the Outer Hebrides, Stornoway, Kirkwall, and Papa Stour.
The penultimate stop will be Shetland’s Fair Isle, before passengers disembark in Aberdeen on June 24.
Ocean Endeavor was built in 1982 by New Szczecin Shipyard in Poland, and was originally named Konstantin Simonov.
She operated in the Baltic Sea before undergoing a major drydock refit in 1988, in which she was transformed into an expedition cruise ship.
The ship’s next trip will see her visit four Canadian provinces on a cruise of Sable Island, Cape Breton, Newfoundland and the Magdalen Islands.
