A MAN has been arrested at the Oak Mall shopping centre in connection with alleged knife possession and stealing.
Police made the arrest on Wednesday and the man now faces prosecution.
Working with retailers and security staff at the Oak Mall, Greenock, 14 June '23, a 34 year old male was arrested for possession of bladed artricles and several thefts by shoplifting.

A spokesperson said: "Working with retailers and security staff at the Oak Mall, Greenock, 14 June, a 34-year-old male was arrested for possession of bladed artricles and several thefts by shoplifting.
"Possession of sharply bladed or pointed article risks a prison sentence up to five years."
