NEW pictures and video footage have offered a first-look inside the flagship waterfront restaurant which has opened at Greenock’s brand new £19.2m cruise ship visitor centre.
The Telegraph got the chance to take a look inside the new Scotts Greenock, which launched last Friday.
The 150-seater venue is hospitality group Buzzworks Holdings’ nineteenth addition to its growing portfolio and first venture into Inverclyde.

Its all-new menu includes everything from classic fish and chips and burgers to prime Scotch steaks and freshly landed langoustines cooked on the chargrill.
Internationally acclaimed interior designer Jim Hamilton drew up the plans for the premises, which boasts an open-air rooftop terrace with panoramic views across the water.
Bosses at the firm say Scotts Greenock will create over 70 jobs for the area, delivering a big economic boost to the district.
The new restaurant has opened within the dedicated new Greenock cruise ship visitor centre which also features a museum paying tribute to the late artist George Wyllie, who worked as a customs officer in Greenock and lived in Gourock for many years, alongside a dedicated arrival and departures hall for the many cruise ships that dock in the town each summer.
The project, which has been jointly funded by the UK and Scottish governments through the Glasgow City Region Deal, is being delivered by Inverclyde Council, with contributions from Peel Ports and the George Wyllie Foundation via the Dunard Trust.
The terminal recently marked an important milestone in its journey towards completion as it welcomed in its first passengers on a trial run, however it is yet to officially open.
Exact opening dates for the cruise ship terminal and the George Wyllie museum are yet to be confirmed, but both are scheduled to open later this year.
