Incredible drone footage captured a pod of 20 dolphins splashing their way around the mouth of the River Clyde beside hundreds of jellyfish.
Ed Mal captured the footage last night, on the day of the summer solstice, after a WhatsApp alert had been sent out from a local marine wildlife group about the sighting as the pod was passing near Largs.
The drone footage, which was recorded at around 9pm, has been hailed as "extraordinary".
Over recent weeks, there has been heightened marine wildlife activity on the River Clyde and Firth of Forth, with a humpback whale even visiting.
Smaller pods of dolphins have also been regularly spotted - but this was understood to have been the biggest recording in the local area so far this year.
