A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for Inverclyde, with the Met Office predicting heavy rainfall in the area overnight.
The warning will be in place from 4pm today until 6am tomorrow.
Forecasters say there is a small chance of disruption, with spray and flooding possibly leading to difficult driving conditions.
The Met Office also warned that homes and businesses could experience power cuts as a result of the downpour.
Drivers are urged to check the Traffic Scotland website for updates before they travel.
