BOTH Greenock and Port Glasgow Juniors are back in training ahead of the new season.

Their respective squads will have a new look, with some signings made by both sides and other players set to move on.

Friendly matches are under way as both sides get into gear for their third division league campaigns.

Greenock have only played the one game so far, as BSC Glasgow pulled out of what was meant to be an initial match.

Nock travelled to Premier League cracks Largs Thistle and put in a respectable performance as they went down 2-0.

Their pre-season preparations continue with a trip to Benburb, another top tier outfit, on Wednesday before they face Greenock under-20s on Saturday at Battery Park.

The club said it as was 'delighted' to retain the services of cultured and experienced attacking centre midfielder Craig Brown, who has re-signed for another campaign.
