A TALL ship which is set to open to members of the public in Greenock later this week sailed into the town today.
Footage has shown the majestic SV Tenacious gliding into port at Custom House Quay, ahead of an 'open ship' event later this week.
The Jubilee Sailing Trust charity are planning to have the magnificent vessel open its doors to locals on Friday to learn about the trust's work.
The wooden sailboat was built by the trust along with the STS Lord Nelson and embarked on its maiden voyage over two decades ago.
The pair of vessels are the only tall ships in the world that were built so that both disabled and non-disabled people can sail as crew.
Features that cannot be found on other ships include wheelchair lifts throughout, unique ascender systems that allow wheelchair users to go aloft, a speaking compass for those with visual impairments, hearing loops, adjustable furniture for those with mobility difficulties, and a joystick to help individuals with dexterity limitations to steer the ship.
The ship will be open from 10am-noon and 1.30-5pm on Friday.
