A FORMER contestant of The Apprentice is to open a new theatre school in Greenock.
Reece Donnelly, 25, has picked the town for the latest branch of his performing arts training company, expanding on his existing schools.
The Theatre School of Scotland was founded in 2017, offering children and young people weekly courses and professional practice to help them break into the performing arts.
Greenock will be the third place to welcome Reece and his team, with courses set to run at Songbird Studios on Robertson Street.

The Greenock campus will offer courses for those aged between three and 18.
The TV star has been out and about in town this week as he prepares to launch his latest venture.
He said: "We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new branch in Greenock, which will be running courses in TV/film acting, acting and performance, singing and vocal coaching.
"From August, we will also be working with local primary schools and secondary schools to offer free workshops in the area."
Management at Songbird Studios also told of their excitement over the link-up.
They added: "We are beyond delighted to be welcoming Theatre School Of Scotland to the studio.
"This is huge news for Greenock."
Reece, who appeared on the most recent series of Alan Sugar’s hit BBC show, visited Greenock on Tuesday as part of the launch.
On Instagram, he shared snaps and videos hanging up posters and filming promotional videos for the new classes.
Having been an actor since the age of six, Reece made appearances in the BBC’s Waterloo Road while it was filmed at the former Greenock Academy.
He stopped off at the site of the now-demolished building, before visiting Scotts at Greenock Ocean Terminal.
