GREENOCK is welcoming cruise ships every day for nine days - with the first of the nonet having arrived today.
Azamara Pursuit docked at Ocean Terminal this morning and she will be followed by World Traveller tomorrow.
Other ships visiting in the coming days are Coral Princess, July 22; Norwegian Dawn, July 23; Island Princess, July 24; Regal Princess, July 25; Azamara Journey, July 26; Jewel of the Seas, July 27 and Mein Schiff 3, July 28.
Bosses at Greenock Ocean Terminal told in March how they were set for their biggest ever cruise season with almost 100 ship visits bringing around 150,000 passengers plus almost 40,000 crew members.
The port has booked 91 cruise liners for its dedicated pontoon this year – a rise of over 25 per cent on last year.
This will be the second full season at the terminal since Covid largely closed down the cruise industry and bosses say it has bounced back strongly.
