GREENOCK'S Waterfront Cinema has issued a plea to movie-goers who are planning to ‘dive in to Barbieland’ in the coming days.
The cinema is expecting an influx of film fans as Greta Gerwig’s Barbie hits the big screen.
Those attending screenings are encouraged to get into the spirit by wearing themed outfits – but staff have asked them to avoid bringing feather boas.

In a social media post, the cinema said: “If you were in Edinburgh after Harry Styles you'll know they stick around forever and are a nightmare for us to clean up - we have Barbie inspired glasses on sale whilst stocks last.”
Those planning to see the film must also book tickets in advance and arrive in plenty of time, with screenings expected to sell-out.
Tickets can be booked at waterfrontcinema.co.uk.
