SCOTRAIL bosses say Inverclyde services will operate as normal despite strikes and other industrial action.
Members of the RMT trade union and the train drivers’ union, ASLEF, are to take part in several days of disruption.
RMT members will walk out tomorrow, Saturday July 29, and ASLEF members plan to withdraw from non-contractual overtime between July 31 and August 5.
The industrial action is a result of a dispute between the trade unions and a number of other train operating companies across the UK.
Phil Campbell, ScotRail head of customer operations, said: “The dispute between the trade unions and other train operators does not involve any ScotRail staff, which means we’ll be able to run our services as normal during the latest industrial action."
