A MAN has died following a disturbance in the Larkfield area of Greenock last night.
Police are this morning treating the death of the 37-year-old as 'unexplained'.
Officers are maintaining a high profile presence at the investigation scene on Angus Road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating the death of a 37-year-old man in Angus Road, Greenock on the evening of Sunday July 30.
“The investigation is at an early stage to establish the exact circumstances and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“Anyone who has any information that may assist officers should contact 101 with reference number 3917.”
A heavy police presence remains on site in the area, with the street sealed off by officers and around 10 force vehicles in place.
