A LUXURY 60-metre superyacht worth around $50million has arrived at James Watt Dock in Greenock.
Constance, a CRN yacht, is owned by American entrepreneur Alan Dabbiere.
He founded supply chain solutions company Manhattan Associates and mobile software enterprise AirWatch.
He sold the former for $45million in 1998, with AirWatch being acquired by VMWare for $1.5billion in 2014.
Constance can accommodate up to 12 guests, as well as 17 crew members.
In an interview with Boat International, Dabbiere discussed a period in which he and his family lived on the boat for 12 months as they travelled more than 20,000 miles – visiting locations such as Cuba, Fiji and the Coco Islands.
The stunning craft is the businessman’s second vessel of the same name.
He told the magazine: “We lived on a 35 metre Benetti, the old Constance, for two years after my daughter was born.
“We convinced her that we found her in the ocean floating on an oyster shell and that she was descended from mermaids.”
