SCOTTISH Water is investigating this morning after residents in parts of Inverclyde reported an interruption to their supply.
The issue was highlighted at around 6:15am this morning, with the supplier sending staff out to assess on site.
The interruption is affecting customers in the PA16 area.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: "We are currently on site with Utilitec to investigate the issue.
"While we investigate please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure.
“You may also experience discoloured water.”
An update from Scottish Water is expected at 11:30am.
