A number of airlines at Glasgow Airport offer a Twilight Bag Drop service, allowing passengers on early morning flights to be one step ahead of their luggage.
easyJet recently revealed that it was expanding the free service, with Ali Gayward, the company's UK Country Manager, saying: “We are always looking for new ways to make travel as easy as possible, so we are really pleased to be introducing our free Twilight Bag Drop service at Glasgow from today.
"As families look forward to jetting off on their summer holidays, we’ve also put in place some extra support over this busy period, extending our customer service hours and providing dedicated customer service support and adding more people to our customer service team, we are ensuring our customers have the support they need when they travel with us this summer, for a quicker and easier journey.”
With the expansion of the Twilight Bag Drop service, here is how it works.
What airlines do a Twilight Bag Drop service at Glasgow Airport?
easyJet and Jet2 both run twilight drop-off schemes for passenger luggage.
How does Glasgow Airport's Twilight Bag Drop service work?
The Twilight Bag Drop service is aimed at those taking early morning flights at Glasgow Airport.
The service allows passengers to drop their luggage off the night before their flight.
This option is ideal for those who live next to the airport and those who are staying in a hotel nearby.
According to the Glasgow Airport website, the service is available between the hours of 4:30pm and 9pm.
For an easyJet flight, passengers should head to the company's bag drop-off area in Terminal 1 with their passports and boarding passes.
The process is similarly simple for Jet2 customers with a Twilight Check-In service available at Terminal 2.
