A WINTER trial date has been set for an assault-accused man charged with injuring a woman in Greenock more than three years ago.
Gerard Green, of Holmscroft Street, is said to have seized the alleged victim by the hair and body, pulled her by the body, pulled her hair and struck her on the face with his hand in April 2020.
Green, 56, also allegedly kicked the woman on the body causing her to fall to the ground.
A not guilty plea to the alleged offence was maintained on his behalf by solicitor Edel McGinty and the case was continued to a further pre-trial hearing later this year before a trial on November 29.
