A SCOTTISH singer songwriter who is huge on the international Americana scene is heading for the Beacon.
Jill Jackson is playing the Greenock venue on Saturday September 30.
Jill started out in pop rock group Speedway in the early 2000s and played at Glastonbury, Wembley Arena and T in the Park, as well as appearing on Top of the Pops.
She has written for Mel C and toured with Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart.
With her solo Americana/country style, she has been likened to artists including Brandi Carlisle and Joni Mitchell.
Her 2022 album 'Yours Aye' reached number one on the UK Country iTunes chart and was the highest new entry on the Official UK Americana chart.
